He was born in Badajoz on June 23, 1957.
He obtained the title of Telecommunications Engineer in the Year 1980 and the title of Doctor of Telecommunications Engineer in the Year 1985 ("Cum laude"), both by the E.T.S. Telecommunications Engineers of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
Since 1980 he has been active in the E.T.S. Telecommunications Engineers of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. After an initial stage in the Department of Electromagnetic Theory as Non-Numerary Professor (1-Oct-1980 to 22-Dec-86), he obtained the appointment of Professor of University on 23-Dec-86. In June 1987, due to the reorganization of departments forced by the L.R.U., it became part of the Department of Signals, Systems and Radiocommunications.
Currently, he is a Full Professor at the University of the Department of Signals, Systems and Radiocommunications.
During the years 1981 to 1982 these appointments were made compatible with scholarships for the realization of Doctoral Thesis: I.N.A.P.E. and F.P.I, not simultaneous.
His professional interests include Electromagnetism, Method of Moments, Electromagnetic Compatibility in communications via Radio and administration of computer systems and networks.
He has actively participated in European (NFR-90, Cost-243) and national (CICYT, UPM) projects. He has also worked and directed various contracts with companies related to Electromagnetic Compatibility (CEM) studies.
