About us

The Radiation Group is a Research Group of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, a leader in research in antenna design and measurement, development of antenna measurement systems and development of complete communications systems based on software-radio platforms. The Group is made up of 7 professors and 5 researchers contracted. Crowd of students doing their End-of-Grade or Master's Degree Work supervised by some of the Group's members, almost all of them within one of the research projects in which the Group works.

The Radiation Group collaborates with the main companies in the sector in research contracts, and participates in research activities within international consortia. Within the facilities, the Laboratory of Tests and Homologation of Antennas (LEHA) stands out, which has several anechoic chambers where to characterize systems of antennas of different types and frequency bands.
